These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MuftiTalk website at muftitalk.com and our pre-launch services, including the launch waitlist and scholar application forms. By accessing our site or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use our website or submit any information.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this website or submit a scholar application. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

Pre-Launch Website

MuftiTalk is currently in pre-launch. The website is for informational and registration purposes only. Features described on this site — including live consultations, in-app messaging, voice and video calls, payments, and a full scholar directory — are planned for the official app launch on July 2, 2026 (UTC) on iOS and Android.

We may change launch timing, features, or availability without prior notice. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to provide services before launch.

Launch Waitlist

When you join our launch waitlist, you agree that:

  • The email address and details you provide are accurate
  • MuftiTalk may contact you about the launch, product updates, and related announcements
  • Joining the waitlist does not guarantee early access or any specific feature at launch
  • You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

How we handle waitlist data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Scholar Applications

If you apply to join MuftiTalk as a scholar, you agree that:

  • All information, credentials, and documents you submit are truthful, complete, and belong to you (or you have permission to share them)
  • You will not impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications
  • MuftiTalk may review your application, verify your credentials, and contact references you provide
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee approval, listing, or income on the platform
  • We may approve, reject, or request additional information at our sole discretion
  • Passwords you create are your responsibility — choose a strong, unique password and keep it confidential
  • Phone verification (OTP) will be completed separately when your account is approved and activated in the app
  • Uploaded files (certifications, Degree/Marksheet, profile photos) may be stored and reviewed by our verification team as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You grant MuftiTalk a limited license to use submitted materials solely to review your application and, if approved, to display your public profile information in the app according to your choices

Approved scholars will receive separate in-app terms and community guidelines when the MuftiTalk scholar experience launches.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
  • Submit false, misleading, or offensive information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or data
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website (including automated scraping or spam submissions)
  • Upload files containing malware or content you do not have the right to share
  • Harass, abuse, or impersonate MuftiTalk staff, scholars, or other users

We may suspend or reject submissions that violate these rules.

Islamic Guidance Disclaimer

MuftiTalk is designed to connect users with qualified Islamic scholars. Religious guidance provided through the platform, when available after launch, reflects the individual scholar's scholarly opinion based on the information provided by the user.

MuftiTalk does not issue fatwas on its own behalf and does not replace local imams, community scholars, qualified legal counsel, or emergency services where required. Users remain responsible for their own decisions.

Website Content and Illustrations

Sample scholar profiles, testimonials, and statistics shown on this pre-launch website may be illustrative and do not represent live users or verified reviews unless clearly stated otherwise. App screenshots and feature descriptions are subject to change before launch.

Intellectual Property

All branding, design, text, graphics, logos, and other materials on this website are owned by MuftiTalk or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse our materials without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing of the site.

Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may reference or link to third-party websites or services (such as font providers or email links). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and pre-launch services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MuftiTalk disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MuftiTalk and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of this pre-launch website or reliance on information posted here.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the pre-launch website will not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if no payment was made.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MuftiTalk from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the website, your submitted information, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where MuftiTalk operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
